Lubion with FET

Saw the consultant recently and told they’ve changed their meds for FET. Switched from vaginal progesterone pessaries x3 per day to x2 per day and added lubion once a day to all their transfers. Mentioned that this was due to a recent study which showed lower rate of miscarriage with lubion. Was just wondering if anyone else had been told similar. We are with a NHS clinic although self funding for this cycle.

No explanation but I have cyclogest twice a day and Lubion every third day. Who knows!

I have crinone X2 and Lubion X2 for my FET. Are you paying for your meds? Lubion is very expensive (I'm nearly 8weeks Pg now and spent a fortune on lubion, worth it obviously). I've not been told about the reduced MC risk. I took it in my last FET and had a MC. Good luck

Yes I’ve seen some of the research suggesting Lubion (subcutaneous progesterone) can help ivf success. Some people don’t seem to absorb an effective amount of progesterone from pessaries it seems. I’m pretty convinced by this, and would insist on combining pessaries and Lubion in future. It’s bloody expensive though!

Appreciate the responses, and @insofaras- thanks for the link, this is what I was looking for. Will have to trust the clinic on this but @LillyLeaf - yeah agree Lubion is eye wateringly expensive. The lubion alone costs the same as the FET!
