7 week 2 day scan - nothing

Had viability scan today at 7 weeks 2 days and nothing. Not even a sac. They think early miscarriage. I’m beyond gutted.

Sorry to hear that Whywhywhy81. You must be feeling pretty rotten. I've only experienced negative pregnancy tests when our IVF/FETs failed. Building up hope to 7 weeks must be devastating. I have my fingers crossed for you that next time is the one. Hugs x

@Whywhywhy81 I’m so sorry hun, it’s devastating I know. Same thing happened to me last month at the 6.5wk viability scan-nothing and it was our first fet after freeze all. I was in bits.

Please look after yourself and talk to someone or counsellor at your clinic if you can.

Do you have anymore embryos in freezer you can try again when you’re ready to?

I found counselling helped me unload feelings but have also very much been of mindset “not meant to be as embryo wasn’t healthy” . I have a frozen embryo left and I’m currently doing my second fet with transfer around Christmas so hoping for my miracle.

I wish you every success with this round. Unfortunately none left for us and this was a good quality embryo so back to drawing board now xx

Was this your first round? Could you get anymore if nhs if you decide to?

I didn’t qualify for nhs give my location so ended up going privately but using access fertility for two fresh ivf rounds and unlimited fet, just have to over the drugs. Thanks for the support - at 41 not very hopeful but will keep all crossed.

@Whywhywhy81 I’m so sorry to hear this. I can’t imagine how you are feeling. Be kind to yourself and take time to process.

I have my viability scan on the 19th of December and I’m terrified! This is my first transfer n it was frozen as I was a freeze all due to OHSS.

You never know. I hope you do get your Christmas miracle x
