What’s normal after a miscarriage?

I suffered a miscarriage last week and bleeding stopped just before the weekend.

Today I am experiencing random sharp pains in my vagina every now and then. They feel like an intense 2/3 second cramp and then it stops. It’s been happening most of the afternoon.

Is this just part and parcel of it all or do you think I may need to see Dr? I have no bleeding, it’s simply on/off pain.

I'm so sorry for your loss, what stage where you at, the pains could be from the uterus contracting back however if you feel unwell at all I would go back as it can be an incomplete miscarriage and you might need an antibiotic. I would have a low tolerance for waiting this out to be honest. It happened to me and I needed to get an IV so as I say don't wait more than about a day. Hope you feel ok and everything g settles down soon
