5 and 3 days embryo transfer gender.

Hi all,

Wondering what gender were your ivf babies and at what day you had the embryo transfer.

When I read through posts here, looks like all 5 days transfers are boys and 3 days transfers are girls - but it cant be he case. The only people in real life I know who did ivf have 2 boys.

I had a day 5 transfer and have a boy. I read actual research and, as far as I remember, boy embryos develop faster so about 60-65% of day 5 best embryo transfers are boys.

My friend had a 5 day blast transfer and she had a baby boy x

This has blown my mind! Really interested to know if this is the case for others!

That's a really interesting idea. My medic partner sent me this after I asked about this - it does suggest slightly more boys are born through 5 day transfer IVF than girls.

I bucked the trend - Day 5 and a girl!

2 day 5 transfers. Both boys!

Day 5 transfer and now have a 3 week old baby girl!

Day 5 transfer of two embryos and I have 6 month old twins - one boy and one girl!

I had two day five transfers and I had one of each. Not twins!

ICSI also has a tendency to skew IVF ratios as it supposedly creates more girls than boys

I had ICSI and a boy

2 Day 5 early blastocysts transferred: boy/girl twins

Day 3 transfer - girl.

2 day transfer Boy. 2 day transfer Girl.

2 day transfer - girl. Not ICSI

Dd was a 5 day

Friends non identical so 2 embryos, boys were day 3

So opposite to your theory

ICSI, 5 day transfer. Had a girl ☺️

I had a FET, all our embryos were frozen on day 2 and he is little boy. X

One day 5 transfer is a boy, the second day 5 transfer is a girl. I know loads of ivf babies and there is no pattern to their gender.
