So I asked my IVF centre to check my thyroid, as I was initially on thyroxine and overshot, and it had been stopped. I was worried it would go up in the cycle and we just transferred a 5 day blast which is kind of our last chance. I got my TSH privately checked and its over 8. Restarting thyroxine but now thinking what a waste. Should have frozen the blast and waited to sort this out but this is all in hindsight. Any advice about good endocrinologists? I feel like I should complain to the NHS IVF centre as they knew this was an issue but if I hadn't brought it up would have just been missed.
