Septate uterus

Hi all,
After an internal ultrasound my gyno has informed me that I have a septate uterus and will need surgery called a metroplasty to correct it. He assumes this is what has caused my 8 early miscarriages
I'd never heard of this before and I am Just hoping for some success stories really to get me through this. X thank you x

Hi @amber256 I’ve also just had the results of my scan, although at the time the sonographer said everything was fine but apparently when gp received the report it said I have a septate uterus. Gp said it must only be slight if the sonographer didn’t recommend gynaecologist referral. But now I’m worried.
