Hello, me and my partner have been TTC since Jan 2018, I finally got an appointment with the doctor back in september to discuss what we needed to do now, I had a blood test on CD2 and CD21 and also an pelvic internal and external ultrasound. I am fortunate enough to have an app on my phone called 'paitent access' which gives me access to my doctors records so I was able to see my blood test results a few days later and also the results of my ultrasound, my blood test results and ultrasound results came back normal
My partner has also had a semen analysis and everything came back normal from that too, I have made another appointment to see the doctor on the 14th November, has anyone been in the same position as me and what happens next? I'm scared the doctor is going to say because everything came back normal we just need to keep trying
Sorry for the long post x

Did you the dye scan?
Can't remember what it's called? It's meant to check that your Fallopian tubes aren't blocked.

If all scans/tests come back as negative you will be diagnosed with "unexplained infertility"
Which is what happen to myself and DH.
There are other tests you can pay to have done privately that the NHS don't offer

Also depending on your NHS trust you may be offered IVF but for us, we had to be trying for 2 years before we qualified.

Let me know if you have any questions x

you'll likely be referred to gynaecology at the hospital where they will take a detailed history and for you to have some more tests. HSG or hycosy to check whether your tubes are clocked and possibly a hysteroscopy to check out the lining of your womb. If those are all clear then it may be a referral for ivf. I'm back to gynae in Dec where they will do my referral. like PP we are unexplained and will have to have passed 2 yrs of actively trying (regular sex 2-3 times a week) to qualify but with waiting times we will have passed that by the time we get our appt. Good luck with it all
