Two lines on a clear blue ovulation test cycle day 29 - pregnant?

Hi,

So what do you ladies think. I don’t have any pregnancy tests but wondered if I could test on an ovulation test. I’m on cycle day 29 so was due on period yesterday. Do you think this could be a pregnancy if showing a 2nd line on ovulation stick? I should imagine answer is no. I’ve just done it at 15:15 with a trickle of wee. So no morning wee and not a full bladder.

Let me know your thoughts please.

Xxx

An OPK can function as a pregnancy test but a) it usually doesn't really do so until a little later than pregnancy tests do and b) it has to be a positive OPK (the test line as dark or darker than the control), not just have a second line on it. It's really normal to have some LH in your system at different points in your cycle.

If I were you, I'd pop out and get some pregnancy tests and then you know for sure. Best of luck.

Pregnancy test is saying negative which is believable after 3 failed attempts at IVF. Here’s to hoping one day 🤞🤞🤞

Good luck and Thanks to you OP

I once took a clear blue OPK thinking it was a pregnancy test (from a jumbled up bag of various TTC stuff given to me by a friend) and thought I'd got my longed for BFP. It was awful when I realised it wasn't.

Big hand holds and keep going.

@Inthemoment38 I did get a little excited 🙈

Thank you 🤞😘
