The dreaded 2 week wait!

Hi all,

I am on my 4th try of IVF and am getting super impatient with the wait. Just wondering if anyone else is on the same timeline as me.

I have had my ET on 21st Oct - its was a 3 Day Transfer and will be testing at home on the 1st November. Don't seem to have any symptoms so far but hoping for the best!

I am also testing on 1st Nov. It’s my 4th transfer too. Am feeling super impatient. Likewise I have no symptoms. This is the least amount of implantation cramps I’ve had. I took some time off work but not sure it’s actually making me feel better so planning in a lot of things over the next couple of days to keep me busy.

Me three - my OTD is 1st November. I'm getting all sorts of symptoms - Cramps, frequent loo trips day and night, sore boobs, heightened sense of smell, but then i think maybe i'm imagining it cos they are things I'm looking for. Could also be the meds, which makes it even more confusing!! I had a double blastocyst transfer on 18th, so I'm 6dpt5t. Considering test early... aaargh x

I also drive myself mad symptom spotting. Agree the meds can make you cramp so it’s so confusing. Interesting your clinic advised you to wait a full two weeks MrsGEW. My transfer of five day blastocyst was Monday 21 Oct. I’ll probably test a day before test day - can’t deal with testing earlier in case it’s wrong x

I had my treatment in Spain, I think its common practice to have a full two week wait! I wont be waiting that long though, I'm going to test early next week, perhaps at 11dpt5dt.
all my symptons have gone now although a stinking cold is distracting me a little from looking out for every twinge. Yesterday I had a whole package of symptons - cramps, twinges, frequent loo trip, sore boos heightened sense of smell and then back ache last night. Today virtually nothing and its making me worry :(
Will you get your test results on the same day?

I wouldn’t wait the whole two weeks either MrsGEW. Try not to worry about symptoms fluctuating. Cramps / twinges could be the various stages of implantation. Sorry to hear you have a nasty cold. I’m finding I get a nasty rash from Progesterone injections which is distracting me from noticing any twinges etc. Yes I do a home test 11 days post 5 day transfer on 1 Nov but I may test a day earlier - I’ll see if I can hold out! How did you find ivf in Spain - had you done any uk cycles first? X

So I’ve been testing, Thurs, Sat and then this morning. Looks like I’ve got a BFP!!!
How are you getting on? x

Hey all! Im so glad there are a few of you on the same journey as me. I have literally been driving myself crazy trying to wait it out. So my last transfer - I was so anxious and tested early - which I felt made things worse for me.... so i am waiting out till Friday.

@MrsGEW- its great that you are getting BFP - things are looking great!

I'm going down the youtube hole right now and just seeing what other people are feeling. I hope friday comes by in a flash.

I've just entered the 2 week wait. 3rd Transfer & last chance saloon for a while - last 2 failed but this time uterine lining really thick which is what they want apparently. I've got the first week off work so going to try and not do to much housework. Test date is 8/11 Good luck and baby dust to all. Hope you're all successful xx

@H1ghH0pes Welcome to the group. Sorry about the previous transfers, but great news on the thicker uterine lining! Yes - try and relax and keep positive thoughts. Im glad I only have a few more days to find out the results.
