Hi all,

Completely new to this and understand it will probably vary based location and other things but was wondering how long it took you to receive an appointment/ letter from the fertility clinic after being referred from the doctors?

From what I've read on other threads it does vary a lot from area to area. We were told it would take up to 16 weeks to get an appointment after getting a referral from our GP but it was more like 12 weeks.

In Surrey I waited 8 weeks but I guess it depends how busy they are - hopefully nice and quick to you. I know the wait is so hard x

In Leeds I waited 6 weeks

Birmingham - I waited 8 weeks for a letter and a further 8 weeks for my first appointment.

Thanks everyone! Hope you’ve all had positive results following your appointments my doctor referred me a few weeks ago so I’m not expecting to hear anything this year...
