First Appointment

We have our first appointment through at the IVF clinic. Been referred via Gynae and had all tests done etc. What should I expect like what will they do, ask etc. Also, what happens next and how long roughly until we are likely to start. Apparently we meet an expedited criteria due to my partner but not sure what this means?

When we got our first appointment at our clinic we received a huge pack of information that we had to read through and there were some forms to complete. Then at the nurse planning appointment at the clinic the nurse went through the whole IVF process with us and we decided on a start date.
I would make sure you know where you are in your cycle when you go for your appointment as this will obviously determine when you start, depending on whether you're doing a long or short protocol. We had a holiday booked which we subsequently cancelled as we just wanted to get started! I seem to remember having blood taken at this point too but it was a while ago so I can't remember exactly!
