Planning cycle with Newlife Greece, any useful advice?

Hi all, the title pretty much says it all. I'm planning my next ICSI cycle with Newlife and in the early stages of getting karyotyping and blood clotting tests done and before heading out for treatment. We've previously used uk clinic and so this is the first time travelling abroad.

We might even go over for the tests too as it all seems to cheaper to have them there even with flight and hotel.

I wanted to ask those of you who have already been to Newlife if you could recommend any particular hotels?

Any other advise in terms of treatment abroad would be very much appreciated.

I didn’t have treatment at newlife, but did in the clinic next door.

I’d recommend you stay in the centre of Thessaloniki rather than near the clinic which is in kalamaria. Recommendations for hotels really depends on your budget. When we have gone together we have made it a bit of a mini break and stayed somewhere nice (partly because I’m a pessimist and think at least if we have had a little holiday out of it, it won’t be a total waste of time when the cycle fails). Have stayed somewhere cheaper if either of us have gone alone. Happy to recommend specific hotels if you want.

Thessaloniki is lovely-it’s a bit of an unknown/under rated place but there’s loads to see and there are lots of nice restaurants and bars there. And more importantly as you probably already know, they have excellent fertility clinics!

Thank you for replying, it would be amazing if you could recommend some hotels. I did also think I'd stay in Thessaloniki too.
Did not realise at all that it's populated with a lot of fertility clinics.

Had go at trying to coordinate transport for a quick trip there for a day or two and there is no straight forward way from Birmingham. Seems like outbound and return flights are from different airports in London! Will have another look again.

No advice on your specific question but Newlife is a fantastic clinic by all accounts. Dealing with complex implantation failure, with lots of success.
Best of luck and I hope u find success there too
