My DP (darling partner) went for his sperm results everything perfect bar his sperm morphology, it should be over 4% and it was 3%, would like some positive advise or anyone in similar situation

Out of 3 sperm tests over the last 4 years my DH has usually come back at 2% - NHS didn't consider this an issue as his overall count was higher than average however when we did move on to IVF for a variety of reasons we were advised to do ICSI IVF

His last test a week or so ago when we went for egg collection it had gone up to 5% the best it's ever been but he's been on wellman conception tablets forever also we were advised to have sex 48 hours (as well as 5 days before) before giving his sample and I believe this also helped

Forgot to say so 3% isn't actually too bad x

What's the overall count? If on the higher side, that shouldn't be a problem at all. 3% of 100 million is a lot more than 3% of 5 million, if you see what I mean.

There are supplements that he can take and lifestyle changes he can make, but they take at least 3 months to improve results.

A urologist or fertility clinic should be able to advise you.

His sperm count is fairly high, so I'd say even with the 3%, you're good!!

Thank you everyone 😊 x

Hi everyone!

Can you advise or recommend any supplements that can improve both count and motility for my DH?

We had our first fertility appointment the other day & were going into it knowing we had to use donor sperm ( my DH was told 4 years ago he had azoospermia and would never have a biological child)
However, they have found live sperm
Low count < 2 mil but I’m holding out some hope.
He’s been on zinc and multivitamins for a couple of years.
I’ve read reviews for wellman, fertility smart and fertalaid but wanted to know if anyone’s had any success with any?

Thanking you in advance.
Smile
