PCOS and period

Hi I have PCOS - came off pill 32 months ago and nothing till AF turned up on Tuesday - since then has got really heavy(super tampon and pad full within an hour and half) sorry if tmi.
Has anyone else experiences anything like this?

Funnily enough I'm in the same bit! I only came off my pill 13 months ago but I didn't get a period. After 6 months I went to the GP and had some tests to find out I have PCOS and I was put on a 2 week pills to induce a withdrawal bleed to clear me out so to speak. I'm on my honeymoon now (typical) and I've been on around 5 days and I've gone through 3 boxes of tampons 😭

Fingers crossed it's the start of something good!🍀

@Pinkroseuk I'm sorry PCOS is so shit. I was diagnosed at 15. When I came off contraception to TTC (it was the implant but I don't think that makes much difference) much first couple periods were ridiculous when they came back. I had one that was 16 days long, and another was slightly less but so heavy that I cringe to remember a day that I bled through pad and underwear in less than an hour and then stained a work chair. Awful. But I am now pregnant (with some assistance), so it can work out ok. Good luck.
