Im just wondering if someone knows how many fresh rounds of ivf on nhs we are allowed on the south east of kent? (Canterbury). I'm waiting for a couple more tests then will be getting reffered at my next appointment in november hope fully.

Thank you. I did see this but wondering if its in date as says 2015 and i thought they cut funding in some areas last year? So bit confusing. I will have to wait till my next appointment 🙄

It’s still showing on the CCG website so hopefully it’s their current policy.

My friend in kings hill got 1

Both went to Canterbury

Yeah i know its not fair should all be the same. Iv checked my area and i get two rounds which im happy about as originally thought it was one. I wont be going to Canterbury clinic will be using Tunbridge wells as Canterbury not an option anynore at the moment.

@Blondeshavemorefun IVF funding is CCG dependent, not hospital dependent, so your funding depends on which CCG your GP practice is in rather than which hospital you have been referred to. Obviously which CCG your GP practice is in has some relation to the postcode you live in, but it’s the CCG your GP surgery is in which is the determining factor for what (if any) funding for IVF you get rather than your postcode.

From a quick search I think one of your friends is in the west Kent CCG and the other in the dartford, gravesham and Swanley CCG hence the difference in their eligibility.

I went to tw. And had 2 fresh cycles. Both failed.

I didn’t know any diff and tbh once I went abroad and 3rd fresh I reliesed how diff things were
