Hello,
After the shock of my latest tests low AMH of 3.6 and a short luteal phase i am going to start IVF in less than a month (recommended by two different specialists). I already started taking Q10 and some other supplements but i want to improve if i can my chances and considering acupuncture as well.
If anyone has ant recommendations in west central London i will be so grateful.
Everything is moving so fast and there is not much time for supplements to work or acupuncture for that matter but i thought is better to try than not. Especially with how stressed i already am.

I've tried a few people, but I really recommend Paula Felgate www.paulafelgate.com she works in a few locations. Two in the City, one in Belgravia.

Thank you for the recommendation @testingtesting111
Can i ask whether the practitioner makes a difference as you tried a few. Are they doing different methods? And did you find it beneficial?

Hi @poupou

Definitely think practitioner makes a difference. If you're uncomfortable, it will likely make it harder to relax. Also not all practitioners have a specialism in fertility.

Methods overall are the same. I suppose it boils down to whether you're comfortable with the person. I found some practitioners a bit dismissive, or went in for the hard sell on, subsequent appointments, spin offs - Chinese medicine, supplements, signing up for associated food deliveries. Although I'm capable of saying no, it just makes me uncomfortable. In addition one practitioner was pretty heavy handed so in hindsight it hurt far more than it needed to - my legs are ridiculously sensitive.

I've found Paula a breath of fresh air. She is genuinely a lovely person, will make recommendations re supplements (she doesn't sell any so no gain to her) but doesn't push things.

I can't say it will definitely work but I have found sessions with her have really helped me de- stress at the very least - I suffer with headaches and she has definitely also helped with that.

Of 2 rounds of clomid and 1 round of ivf whilst seeing her, all three rounds were successful / resulted in pregnancies although things unfortunately haven't worked out. I've Genuinely no idea if it was the acupuncture, but i'm about to start another ivf round and will be going back to her.
