IVF First Round

Hi,

We started our first round of IVF earlier this year due to getting OHSS we ended up having to freeze our embryos...we had our appointment today to start the new protocol and get ready for embryo transfer, super excited and nervous just wondered if anyone else is coming up to embryo transfer? Xx

@RobynLouF I am started buserelin 8 days ago 1st scan is next Thursday waiting on af to show! This is my 2nd transfer! How are you feeling about it?

I am looking forward to getting started just waiting for my period now then I can start the tablets for getting ready for the transfer...just a
Bit worried I am getting my hopes up too much 🙃 for it working, we had a really good outcome of embryos but keep trying to remember that doesn’t mean the actual pregnancy will be successful...we have been trying for 6 years so hard not to get hopes up! What does AF mean? Sorry new to the lingo as first time posting or reading anything in a forum x

@RobynLouF is is hard not to get your hopes up our 1st one resulted in a positive but I had a bleed at 5 weeks and unfortunately it was bad news it was tough but feel ready to try again with one of our other Frosties! Af stands for Aunt Flo so your period! Once that happens o can start taking the progynova to start building up my lining! Transfer should be end of Sep/early Oct

I’m also awaiting starting my first FET after a freeze all for severe OHSS. I think Nurture must use a different protocol as I will be downregulating from day 21 of next cycle with buserelin and then starting various oestrogens. Suspect start buserelin mid Oct and transfer won’t be until November. Feels like ages away

@Anaesthetist83 I’m on the same protocol as you startedday 21 and then once af has been scan and start progynova (oestrogen) once lining is thin. Hopefully it will go quick for you!
