NHS IVF funding approval

We have been waiting over three weeks for the letter to confirm funding - is this normal? How long did others wait??

Hey @Holly19 - it can be anything up to 6-weeks depending on which CCG you are applying to.

Once we managed to get all the required tests and paperwork done, it took less than 2-weeks to have approval (NHS England).

It's horrible the wait, I thought that we may have been rejected so when I got the phone call to say we got it, I burst in to tears.

Thank you @MrBay It’s been nearly 4 weeks now which is making me anxious. Our infertility is due to cancer so I hope that’s a good enough reason to approve the funding but you just never know - getting nervous now!!!
