Reprofit DE vs Tandem Cycle at Miracle? Halp.

Hi all,

I need some help.

TTC#1 for 4 years, 34 years old, AMH is 1.
We had 4 eggs collected and 1 blast transferred in April this year in the UK, BFN. 2 weeks ago BFN after a DISASTROUS donor egg cycle with Reprofit. Literally never want to go back there again.

Miracle IVF do a tandem cycle in Cyprus, you stim, the donor stims and then you transfer a good quality embryo of yours, or the donors if yours doesn't work out, and freeze the rest. At the moment it is seeming like a great option to give my eggs one more go. BUT Reprofit is a great clinic and surely we can't be that unlucky again...?

Any thoughts or opinions really welcome. Thank you xx

Also, this is our last shot before giving up. We don't have the money and resources to do more than 3 cycles. I just want to throw everything at it.

I don’t know the clinic but I think that sounds like a great idea and one that could hopefully provide you with some frozen embryos too. If you are unsure can you fly over or have a consult with the clinic before making your final decision? I am currently looking at IVF abroad and lots of the clinics seem very good. If you’ve had one try with Reprofit and it didn’t work out then it could be worth trying somewhere new. I would also be very happy to at least have the chance of own eggs but a good back up if it didn’t work out. Good luck!!

Thank-you @AnnaSteen We have decided to go for the tandem cycle. I don't want to look back and think ' I didn't give it one last go". We shall see.
