Do progesterone side effects mimic early pregnancy symptoms?

Just that, really.

I'm 8dpo and trying to pass the time! It's my first round taking progesterone pessaries following ovulation and a round of Clomid.

Apart from some barely there cramps, the only new "symptom" I've got is watery CM and a general feeling of wetness. I'm very "aware" that I've been using the pessaries, so wonder if it's just that. I don't usually get this during my LP.

It got me thinking that maybe the additional progesterone is mimicking early pregnancy symptoms, even if implantation actually hasn't happened.

What do you reckon?

Yup progesterone supplements messes with your head and does mimic early pregnancy symptoms

In a "normal" pregnancy it's the naturally produced progesterone which gives you symptoms like nausea, saw boobs and increased discharge

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted It's definitely messing with my head!

By the same token, should the progesterone also supress pre AF symptoms? I really need to stop overthinking this!
