Peri menopause?

I'm late 30's with one child. We've been trying for our second for six months.

My cycle is definitely getting shorter- it's twenty days now and incredibly painful.

Is this peri menopause?

It could be, but it might not - best to see your GP and ask them to check your FSH and LH levels (sorry, that's mega-obvious advice, didn't want to read and run).
