PGS - all abnormal

Hi All - i am new to this but hopefully someone can help. We had PGS done and all 8 embryos came back abnormal. The clinics policy is to discard them. I was wondering whether anyone has experienced something similar? And if so, would you go ‘again’? My concern is that if they were all abnormal this time, the same will happen next time (despite the doctor stating that every menstrual cycle is different). 37 old.

@Sunshinelove8 thanks for checking in. We asked the clinic to give us the detailed feedback about the embryos which was terrible, they were a mess genetically. Thanks to something l read on here l found out it was an option, the clinic never bothered to tell us Hmm. We also disposed of the embryos.

We paid for DNA fragmentation testing, he got 35%. This is after vitamin C, no smoking, ubiquinol, lots of fruit / veg etc. The odds of even IVFI with ISCI working isn’t great. But we knew that already from the joke that was our last cycle.

Currently trying to get our head around it. Fiancé seems set on doing nothing. I’m contemplating how l feel about donor embryos and donor sperm. It’s a tricky one as l wouldn’t want to press gang or coerce him into something he isn’t comfortable with. But on the flip side he shouldn’t really have the veto on whether l ever have a child

How are things with you?

That’s a tough one hun but can you still not use your eggs ? It’s a hard one which takes some people time to get around , I’ve got de in the back of my mind , some days I’m all for it and other days I think I can’t do it . Perhaps your fiancé just needs a bit of time to get his head around it ? Some of the clinics run sessions talking to donors and those adults who came from donors , I’ll try and dig out the Spanish one I last got an invite from . It might help to start with something like that . It won’t work unless you are both agreed about what you want 💜

@Sunshinelove8 thanks to wasted time with nonsense “unexplained infertilty” diagnosis. The last few years have been wasted and lm now over 40. Not sure what condition my eggs are in Confused

Hi op

Wondering if you mind sharing any updates please? I'm 37 with 3 chromosonal losses and just wondering if IVF will be worthwhile for me due to 100% of my pregnancies being with chromosonaly abnormal embryos x x x
