Before TTC I have wanted to lose 3 stone, I am only a few lbs off this goal!! I am getting worried though as I have PCOS and know it's going to be a struggle. I already have one child although he wasn't planned. Any tips for me please?

What makes you think it is going to be hard? Having one child by accident should at least tell you it is possible.... maybe try first before you start worrying.

When I was diagnosed I was told I was infertile, hence why I was on no contraception at the time.

They often tell women with pcos they're infertile. Some are and some aren't at all. Some women are told they 'may' be infertile or struggle and the women only hears infertile. And then some women with pcos aren't told anything about fertility and then struggle to conceive.

As long as you have ovaries, a Fallopian tube and a womb, anything's possible (and even ivf can get around the tube issue, and the ovaries issue, come to think...) The way the diagnosis is delivered and explained has a lot to answer to!!!!!
