Just done egg collection, don't want to tempt fate but hoping there will be some blasts to freeze by Monday.

Just wondering... has anyone done a freeze all cycle followed by an FET, and if so do you have any tips to improve chances of successful implantation?

I feel i swotted up on vitamins, acupuncture, etc for the egg collection phase, but now don't really know what to do next!

@applecrumbl3
I had to have a freeze all cycle and it threw me for a loop as wasn't prepared emotionally for gearing up for a FET

I do natural non medicated FET and also mild short protocol ivf so I can transfer as soon as 6 weeks after egg collection - for those on long protocol it can be much longer

I drank lots of full fat milk and kept on with the high protein pre egg collection diet and then had acupuncture within 3 days of transfer

Wasn't successful first FET but did get a BFP FET2 but ended in ectopic
I'm gearing up to start another full cycle next month

I did a freeze all cycle, had high risk of ohss and it was frustrating at the time but having that break was good. My third transfer worked (i'm 31 weeks now) and the difference between first two and the third was that i was exercising a lot more, eating well, doing acupuncture and generally in a much better mental state. I also did the immune therapy thing so that could have been it, or the combination of factors.

Wishing you all the very best, hoping you get lots of frosties!

I had a freeze all cycle due to OHSS. I wasn't expecting it and at the time was devastated by the setback. I had to wait 3 months for my first FET and it was short protocol medicated.

I've now got 2 FET babies, aged 3 and 1. Smile I didn't prepare that much really - just tried to relax, had a few glasses of wine when I felt like it, ate well and tried not to stress. Easier said than done.

I had a freeze all cycle due to OHSS also, obviously at the time was devastated by the setback and the thought of having to wait again. Egg collection was January, FET was in May. Thankfully pregnant from FET, 14weeks+1day actually. I didn’t do anything differently, ate well and healthily as possible lots of fresh fruit and veggies. No vitamins or acupuncture although after transfer I wore 2 pairs of socks for the whole 2 week wait (obviously changed themGrin) apparently having warm feet can help? Maybe a myth but something I picked up from another IVF lady, maybe there must be some truth in it..who knows. I wish you all the luck in the world OP.
