Yorkshire IVF recommendations

Hiya, im 37 and have have been ttc for nearly 18 months with absolutely no hint of a bfp. All nhs tests have come back ok, but because i have 2 dds with my exh we don’t qualify for any treatment. Can anybody recommend anywhere for private ivf? We’re in York. Thanks x

Closest is probably Leeds fertility at scarcroft. I had a pretty good experience with them - but they only did my egg collection and transfer. My protocol was set up by Yorkshire fertility, but that's all the way in Halifax and travel was a bit of a nightmare for scans during my cycle.

Start by doing some research with the hfea website. Next step would be to go to open evenings. There are also clinics in Sheffield and Manchester that I know of.

I had treatment in Leeds and we have now moved to Manchester for treatment as we hadn’t had any success. Leeds is a big clinic and towards the end we felt we weren’t getting the personal approach, but I know a lot of people like it and the consultants are very good. There is not a huge amount of choice in Yorkshire - we visited Care Sheffield too as a couple of friends have IVF babies from there but it wasn’t for us. It might be worth visiting a couple to get a feel for them.
