2 transfers 2 miscarriages

Where do I go from here? I've had miscarriage blood testing after the first, nothing was found. I still have another 3 embryos. The thought of this happening again is terrifying. Any success stories after 2 miscarriages?

Nothing much to add - just here to say that you are not alone . Im very much in the same boat and have been told to just keep trying with FET and that it has just been bad luck, im 3MC's in now and waiting for the next transfer. If you have another then they should offer recurrent mc testing, testing of the "products of conception" (i.e baby for genetic testing) and a chance to be seen by a recurrent MC unit- hopefully they would be able to give you more answers. I do hope that your next transfer is a success, Its fantastic that you have three more frosties!

Can you remember what they tested before?
Have they checked for any autoimmune problems?

@ScottishJaggyNettle thanks for your reply and sorry you're going through this too, it's so awful. I'm really trying not to fall into a dark hole this time and push those 'it's not fair', 'what if it never happens', 'why me' thoughts out of my head. I haven't even started bleeding yet, it's only been a day without progesterone so I probably still have plenty in my system. Epu insists on scanning me again in a week before giving me the medical management so I'm hoping it happens naturally before that. I do need to review what tests I had, there were a lot. I'm so desperate to get on with the next cycle but I know there'll be so much waiting. I'm even thinking about putting 2 blasts back in. How much FETs do you have left?

Oh no @Lillyleaf I am so sorry to read this. It happened to me too. If you haven't bled yet you may want to consider getting the remains tested (would have to be private), it helped me a lot to know the problem was genetic and wouldn't have been survivable the second time. Your clinic could possibly also do some tests on you and your partner. Let me know if you want more info. My thoughts are with you.

@orangefolly oh I'm so sorry it's happened to you too, it's so awful but I'm trying to keep going. I started bleeding on Monday. We had kayrotying blood tests this week so will get the results maybe within 4 weeks then we'll do pgs testing on the remaining 3 embryos. Terrified of there being a problem with either or both of us which will be a major game changer. What is your next step?

Argh typed out a message on my phone then somehow lost it instead of posting!

The two MCs were before my last IVF round, which was a bust because I ovulated early, but the plan had been to do PGS testing as everything else had been ruled out. If you've already had blood testing then PGS is probably the only thing left. Also I was on prednisolone empirically because my consultant said he didn't find the immune response blood tests reliable.

Frustratingly, I hear a LOT that people say 'oh two miscarriages is very common' and 'if you can get pregnant in the first place that's the biggest hurdle'. It's not at all comforting. But let's hope they are right. Hope you are doing okay today

Hi nothing really to add but I'm in the same boat. Had 3 cycles IUI 1 cycle IVF and had 3 miscarriages (1 mmc 2 chemical pregnancies). It's so hard. I've had the NHS recurrent miscarriage tests but they were disappointing.

Orange I get that all the time with 3. I think mostly its people not knowing what to say and are trying to comfort you. Only time will tell.
