Illness during IVF cycle

I’m feeling really upset. We have egg collection on Monday (today is Friday) and my husband is sitting here with a fever and a tummy bug. Will this affect his sperm? If I get it will it ruin our chances?!

How awful for you and your dh! Luckily, Tummy bugs tend to burn out pretty fast. I'd imagine you'll be fine to proceed as kind as he can still produce a sample (or you guys have a frozen sample to use). I'd be washing and cleaning everything he goes near in the meantime!!!
