I last had a period in march (12th-20th) unfortunately didn't make the cut for an appt at my hospital. So have been waiting for period to arrive so i can try and get an appt this month but it doesn't look like its ever going to arrive!! 😫😫

Just done a hpt but its negative. Maybe i should wait for fmu to do again.

But should i ring and ask to have one anyway?
I've had very slight spotting which could possibly be my period but highly unlikely as i usually have have heavy period (tmi!)

Annoyed more than anything i think

I have irregular cycles and when booking HyCoSy they told me that if my period didn’t arrive by X date then I could take the risk and have the HyCoSy anyway. The two caveats were I had to do a pregnancy test on the morning of the HyCoSy to double check I wasn’t pregnant, and I had to accept (and sign something) to confirm I understood that if I was actually pregnant then there was a very small risk to the baby. As it turned out, my AF arrived and I had it done on the recommended days, but there should be options (which I would’ve personally taken as I needed answers).

They won't do it if your period hasn't arrived. They also won't do it whilst you're still bleeding. I ended up going private in the end as I could never get an appt at the right time!
