Hi all, does anyone know the wait time for IVF NHS Yorkshire Fertility?

Hi, what stage are you at? The issue is usually the wait time for paperwork appointment, mine was about five weeks, I think at the minute it's about six. But we could've started that cycle once the paperwork was signed.
I had my treatment here in March and happy to answer any questions you may have.

Daisymay has more recent info. But wait time a year ago was for paperwork appointment and then your period to start. They kept telling me 'there is no waiting list.'

Good luck!!

Are you having ec at seacroft?? Had a pretty good experience with it there...

DaisyMay25 · 26/05/2019 21:54

I second seacroft! The nurses were lovely!

Although my whole experience with Yorkshire fertility was fantastic.

Hi @DaisyMay25 @physicskate thanks for this, very positive, I was worried it would be months and months! Myself and my partner are all tested and lap, unexplained. My next app is 3rd June with Mr D for a plan of action. I'm guessing he is going to say IVF and I was wondering what the wait time would be x

They kept changing my appointments and then not notifying me, which was very annoying. But those were my appointments before ivf. Once we got the ball rolling on that, they were completely fantastic. They really tailored my protocol to me and supported me during the stims phase so amazingly well!!

@RoxyP I was unexplained too. He made us do 6 months of clomid before ivf. I always found having low expectations about intervention was best. I wouldn't go in expecting ivf to be the next step, even if that ends up happening. Have you been to the info evening?

RoxyP · 26/05/2019 22:24

@physicskate my husband thinks he will do meds too before IVF. Truthfully I have no idea only guessing it's just frustrating waiting for next app so I research a lot to help my mental state Confused
No I haven't been to the info evening, any good?
@DaisyMay25 thank you I have loads of questions but I'm hoping Mr D can answer most of then in a week, fingers crossed x

@RoxyP the info evening was very helpful, if you do go down the ivf route I'd recommend it. They are very good at keeping you informed of everything that's happening at every stage. Don't be scared to ask any questions you have, I thought some of mine was ridiculous, they wasn't and they always had answers for me

physicskate · 26/05/2019 22:29

Definitely go to the info evening. If ivf is the next step, it's what they'll highly recommend you do.

I researched like a demon too. Not sure it kept me sane though HmmWink.

Thanks ladies!
@physicskate please could I ask how old you are?

OP posts:
physicskate · 27/05/2019 08:08

I'm now 35. Did ivf at 34.

RoxyP · 27/05/2019 12:31

@physicskate same I'm 34, I just wondered if age had any relevance to what treatment or time on Clomid etc
