Progesterone blood test results?

Hi guys,

I had a progestrone blood test done yesterday just called up and my result was 31.3. Is there a chance with this level I could well be pregnant? I understand it indicates I ovulated this month but I'm going out of my mind thinking (hoping and praying..) this is our month to conceive after trying for just over 2 years now. This tww business is driving me insane

Hey @Mummylaura1988, you may be pregnant but don't think progesterone will be indicative of that.

My results were 46 and I wasn't pregnant. Keeping my fingers crossed that you have good news. When is af due? X

@VenusStarr I'm not really sure to be honest my cycles are all over the place. Last month it was 34 day cycle however my app is saying I'm due AF on Tuesdsy according to when I ovulated (doctors think 8th or 9th may due to my progesterone test. Normally its 2 weeks after ovulation you get AF if your not pregnant dont you?

Yeh, if af doesn't arrive by next Thursday think testing would give you a definite response @Mummylaura1988 🤞 xx

@VenusStarr I dobt think I can hold out that long..going to test in the morning see what that says..if that's a bfn then I'll wait until Thursday. Not getting any symptoms either..think I'm clutching at straws really but there is no problem in wishing eh lol Xx

Definitely not! We have to keep hoping @Mummylaura1988 :) let me know. I'm not due af until 26th, it's a long wait...

@VenusStarr fingers crossed although I did a test this morning which was stark white. I'm about 9/10dpo so hopefully this was just to early. I've ordered some frer's off the internet. My app says I should be coming on on Wednesday so maybe I'll do a test Wednesday morning if AF doesnt show before. Xx

I'd say a bit early to test, don't count yourself out yet @Mummylaura1988. Fingers crossed for Wednesday for you xx

Thanks VenusStarr slightly gutted but I think I needed that bfn to shake me out of feeling that this is my month and behind heavily disappointed Wednesday. I have no symptoms no sore boobs nothing..x

I wouldn't worry too much about no symptoms @Mummylaura1988. I did conceive in February and I only tested because it was af due date and wanted to check it was bfn so I could prepare for af arriving. Was very shocked when it was positive. So for me no symptoms was a good sign. Symptoms came around the end of week 4/early week 5. That sadly ended in mmc.

I'm trying to allow myself to hope but not get too hooked on believing it will be positive, if that makes sense. Let me know x

I completely understand what you mean @VenusStarr. I'm totally with you on that thought. I've been getting some cramping pains today so I think I'm pretty much out this month but I guess time will tell for me.
Will definitely keep you updated tho. Fingers crossed for you too xx

I've been noticing cramps alot today and also been feeling very neauseas today. I think I'll use my frer tomorrow morning to see what it says. I keep thinking maybe it's a sign or just maybe I'm coming down with something. Guess time will tell in the morning. How are you feeling @VenusStarr? Xx

I'm OK, thanks for asking. I should be due at the weekend. Undecided if I will test early or not. Its driving me a bit mad. Might help me prepare if I see bfn. X

@VenusStarr yep tested this morning BFN you couldn't get any nearer to stark white if u tried.. that's me out this month..again. app says I should be coming on tomorrow although still no real symptoms to suggest I am tbh. X

What's your next steps? I've had all the bloods, now under the fertility clinic at the hospital. Got to have a hsg and hysteroscopy over the summer. Xx

It certainly is @VenusStarr. I guess its another month of trying letrozole and hoping I ovulate again this month and hopefully next month is our month again. I've been told I have secondary unexplained infertility. It's amazing how u can have 1 child no problems but then when it comes to wanting another it's so hard.

How you getting on @Mummylaura1988? I had a bfn this morning :( it's horrible to see. Af due either Saturday or Sunday but think it might arrive early tomorrow. Xx
