Just received my fertility blood test results from cycle day 3 today. I don't see my doctor until next week so I wondered if anyone can help interpret these please? Photo attached:

Many thanks!

So I think this is ok for where you are in your cycle - your only cycle day 3 so LH should be low and also progesterone - you want it over 30 around cycle 21 to confirm that ovulation had happened

I had my CD21 bloods before these. My progesterone was 45.4.

I'm a bit worried that my FSH seems a bit high, but I do already know I have low ovarian reserve from AMH tests done in Feb.

9.2 isn’t that bad for fsh- how old are you?

Even if you have low ovarian reserve it doesn’t mean you can’t get pregnant. Mine was 12 (fsh, and my amh was rubbish too) and I still Managed to get pregnant 3 times.

I'm 37. The fertility clinic have only given me a 5% chance of conceiving naturally and I've had 2 early mc in the last 6 months.

My fsh was 11.8 at age 31 (AMH 8) sat next to my 14 week old currently so I wouldn’t stress too much about that fsh - it isn’t a great market of how you’d respond to ivf.

Ilikeviognier · 16/05/2019 14:57

Tbh I’m not sure I buy that 5% stat.

There’s a paper online somewhere which shows that low ovarian reserve doesn’t impact natural conception- which makes sense as you only release 1 egg per month anyway.....

hoping2018 · 16/05/2019 15:35

Yes ovarian reserve does not impact on natural conception as long as you are still ovulating. It is more relevant for if you need ivf - and as I said my fsh was higher when having ivf and I got loads of eggs and one baby!

Ilikeviognier · 16/05/2019 16:12

Agree with the above

And if you do Ivf,it doesn’t mean it won’t work. One of my Dc was from ivf- I only got 2 eggs....

And the best test of how many eggs you’ve got left is being stimulated with a round of ivf.... I was told they wouldn’t get many eggs and therefore gave me a higher level of stimulation - I got 20+ both rounds!
