Hello I've got my consent signing on the 14th may. I had a mmr vaccine when I was a child I've recently had a blood test to show I'm not immune. So I have my vaccines on the 17th. Will this dramatically delay treatment. I was supposed to get vaccinated few months back but fell pregnant only to have miscarriage. I'm going to be gutted if delays treatment for months. Also I'm getting husband vaccinated.. as wasn't sure if he needs to be done? Any information would be greatful

Don’t think it matters if your husband has his done. Maybe ring your clinic and double check? X

You have to wait a month after MMR before trying to conceive.

Your husband doesn’t need the vaccine, just you.

My husband had to be checked. We were both immune so not sure how long it will delay things. Sorry. X

Thanks for reply. I'm getting NHS funded which they've given me 6months free treatment. Will this start after checks of all vaccines etc? Worried im well into the 6months and not had anything done. Thank in advance

I was advised to wait a month. Mine was a two part injection, so a month after the second injection.

MMR is a live vaccine and so there’s a risk that if you fall pregnant while the vaccines are in your system, your baby could get the illnesses. That’s why most clinics will make you wait a cycle.

My husband as never had vaccines for rubella.. if he has to have two lots and me have just a booster will that still delay treatment? As if that's the case I will cancel his appointment. Thanks Rachel

I've never heard of men being asked about it. Think it's just women.

Ask your clinic. Mine didn’t ask about my husband’s vaccination history at all; and only cared about Zika for him.
