I’ve heard and read through posts on here thst a lot of you ladies take ubiquinol. I’m just wondering which one to start taking?
I’m 28 and will be 29 next year when we start our first cycle of icsi. My fsh is good but I recently had a hsg and found the dye didn’t go through my left tube, the doctor wasn’t sure if it is blocked or not.
I’ve been pregnant before by a previous partner. My husband has male factor infertility. I want to give the ivf our best shot as we have been trying for over 5 years so doubt we will ever get pregnant naturally. I’m confused to what supplements to take at the moment though, I’m losing weight even though my bmi is in the ok range as I want to be physically healthy. So which supplements would be ok to take? And which ubiquinol as I’ve googled and a lot of different brands have come up. Thankyou.

I've just started this one @Rspu1384. Got it from amazon for about £20. I've just bought it starts with the egg and there's some useful information in there. I'm taking 200mg a day.

If you have male factor, it might be worth considering whether your husband could also take the male conception vitamins and ubiquinol, etc . . . .

I am taking the Pharma-Nord ubiquinol, 300 mg once a day with food (when I remember). Expensive! But my AMH is under 5 and I've got less time on the biological clock.

Ask your consultant about it. I was asked to take it with co-enzyme q10 and a high protein diet but it was because I had a specific issue with egg quality.

Another thing you may want to look for is an ubiquinol that is both water and fat-soluble for better absorption.
