Unsuccessful Clomid, next step

Hi Everyone,
I've been taking Clomid for 4 months now. 50mg tablets and it's done nothing at all. After reading Clomid is for women with PCOS or women who don't ovulate regularly and after test I don't have either issue. I'm confused as to why they would put me on it.
Has anyone else used Clomid and got know where? What was your next step? IUI? IVF? Has anyone stopped Clomid early? I have a telephone consultation tomorrow with the gynecologist to discuss. Any advice very welcome

I have pco (but not the endocrine disorder pcos) and my cycles were a tad irregular (28-39 days, but I think I mostly ovulated if you go by opks and bbt). Clomid didn't do much for me either, except cause me to grow a medium-sized fibroid... gr.

We went on to have a successful round of ivf. I think I was put on clomid to buy a bit more time in the hopes of fall pregnant naturally. I'd been ttc about 18 months when we started the clomid, so not quite long enough to qualify for nhs ivf at that point.

I would be wondering why you were given clomid - did they not properly explain why?. Have you both been tested to date?.

Do you have a diagnosis of the underlying problem?.

I would be wanting to discuss all this with the gynae.

I was put on clomid as in my area if you try it for min 3 months it shortens the time you have to wait for ivf. Once I'd ticked that box they just started the ivf process

Hi. We have had sperm test, ovulation test and hsg and all cane back fine. Doctor wants us to try naturally for another 6 months then do 6 months clomid then ivf waiting list. I was reading online and it said even if ovulate the clomid can held produce more eggs and more follicles x

Hi

I’ve had all my test done and it shows I ovulate but on the lower end of the normal range. They’ve just put me on clomid for 6 cycles. I have an another appt with consultant in Jan to discuss what’s going to happen next. Does anyone know after my jan appt roughly how long I would have to wait to actually have ivf?

Also what’s the process for it after having all test done? Funding etc

@Lullabywish I had the same I was put on clomid for 6 months with no success I was then referred for a Laparoscopy to treat my pcos and then 3 months of natural trying I was then asked to take letzole which is similar to clomid for 3months I then had a failed icsi so we had a male factor too not sure why we were not told this and currently in a fet cycle the process took about 2 years because they have to tick every box before they can refer you it is so frustrating when you know someone else is wrong other then ovulation xxx
