He's amazing my ex husband was really controlling and pressured me get sterilized at 23yrs old I'm now 27 have 2 children, 10 yr old boy and a 6 yr old girl my partner is 38 ... My question is can we have a cycle of IVF on the nhs as he has no children

Highly unlikely. Only 8 ccg allow ivf for a couple where one has children. Zero fund ivf if the cause of infertility is sterilisation (except if caused by medical treatment like chemo). Sorry.

I'm surprised any doc would perform the procedure at such a young age!

You might have to think through any other funding options you may have. Sometimes going abroad is a better financial option...

Maybe report this thread and have it moved to a more appropriate board?

No.

Going private may be your only option, sorry not what you want to hear. I know it's unaffordable for many people.

Sorry, but i doubt you could. My nhs trust wouldn’t cover a cycle for the same reason, we ended up going to Poland for ivf.
