Test, test and test again!

Just a quick note for serial testers.....I've just had a BFN and despite being told by my husband and friends that I needed to stop testing before the OTD...I was doing 5 a day the weekend before but I am so grateful I did. I got an early BFP and was delighted but always had a niggle in the back of my mind that the line didn't get darker and 2 days before OTD it began getting lighter.
Although getting a BFN was devastating when I sat and watched the official test I was prepared for it not to be a line so I was ok. If I had spent two weeks hoping and praying I would have been a giant mess.
Also, I did tell my clinic that I had tested early and expected to be told off but that turned out helpful for them. The number of days I had tested and the positives I was getting at 13p5dt told them that there had been some implantation which is useful for them for planning next steps. They also said that if it's going to be positive they expect positive results from around 10dp5dt. Early testing isn't for every one but I'm so grateful I did.

Hi @Runner31 - I feel exactly the same as you. Cycle 1, I was a good girl and waited until OTD. It was a cataclysmic disappointment that it hasn't worked - weeks of hope came crashing down. Cycle 2 and 3 I tested early and I was able to come to terms with BFNs much more readily (one was a CP, just like yours).

I'll be testjng early again in my next cycle.
