Hi just wondering if anyone one else has started their 2 week wait? I'm currently trying to conceive no.2 with icsi this is our 3rd try with a fresh cycle plus 1 cycle had to be abandoned and 1 with fet.
I had a day 2 embroy implanted on Sunday. Fingers crossed it sticks

Me! I had a FET On Saturday - ttc nr 2. Via ICSI too!

I've been throwing up tonight - is that normal at only 2dp5dt?? I had an unmedicated transfer x

longrd · 12/03/2019 08:22

Hi @raindropsinspring oh I'm not sure about being sick I'd check with your consultant.
I just feel like I'm getting a cold, headache tiredness and my legs are killing. I think it's all down to the cyclogest pessaries.
Basically I'm a joy to be around 🙄

I'm so tired too! And really bad stomach this morning but no sickness thankfully.
I don't want to read into my symptoms too much (quickly closing google!) as don't want to get my hopes up! This is my first ivf try so not really sure how I should feel - with my first child I didn't get any sickness until 14 weeks so this is all a bit different! 😬
Staying in bed today watching Netflix! 🤣

longrd · 12/03/2019 09:38

Ah I'm jealous, I've currently got my LO watching
minions but she's getting very bored 😬
I have a feeling I might have to take her to dreaded soft play.

Yes close down Google! Netflix is your friend.

I had fresh transfer on Saturday, ICSI, we put two back in.

What date are you testing?

I've had lower back cramps yesterday and loose bowels since transfer but that always happens for me. I feel completely normal today.

Slightly sore boobs due to progesterone.

I'm so impatient...I want to know now

longrd · 12/03/2019 11:04

Hi sarahthewiganer my test date is the 24th...the wait to find out it torture I'm just trying to keep busy.
When do you test?

OP posts:
sarahthewiganer · 12/03/2019 19:22

Sorry for the late reply, I think I'm gonna test on Saturday...I'm so impatient.

I've felt nothing today. No pains, no symptoms at all.

AliceRi · 12/03/2019 21:45

Hello! Sorry to jump on the thread hope you don't mind.

I am supposed to test on Thursday as I had my transfer on Feb 28th but I got too impatient and rested today. Negative. I'm not sure if I should just keep the hope up until Thursday but feeling quite down about it.

So many drugs not helping and they just make me grumpy and I start wondering how is it that it is 2019 and there is still no earlier test than 2 weeks ;)

Ttc 5 years
2nd IVF cycle
2 miscarriages

longrd · 13/03/2019 07:56

sarahthewiganer don't worry about the "symptom" lot of people don't even realise there pregnant so I'd take it as a good sign.

AliceRi don't feel disheartened though I know its easy to just wait until your actual test date do another... it can all change pretty quickly!

My headache goes then comes back with full force is anyone else on cyclogest?

OP posts:
AliceRi · 13/03/2019 10:22

Thank you longrd fingers crossed.

Yes I'm on cyclones too. And progynova. And clexane. The joys. ;)

I also get headaches that come and go so I assume is a common side effect?

sarahthewiganer · 13/03/2019 10:40

I got a really faint line today but I think it might be my trigger leaving...I had my trigger at 10:30pm on the 2nd March. Gonassi 10,000. When should I expect that to leave?

longrd · 13/03/2019 21:55

sarahthewiganer I don't know when it will leave your system sorry. Try not to test too early as you may get a false negative and it will just make you feel rubbish for no reason.

OP posts:
longrd · 14/03/2019 15:10

AliceRi how are you?

OP posts:
AliceRi · 14/03/2019 18:23

Hi longrd,

Thank you for asking. Not great. Got my BFN today. Very devastating :(

I really hope you all get BFPs so I can get a little hope. Sending you all big hugs.

longrd · 14/03/2019 19:01

I'm so sad to hear that... don't give up hope I'll keep everything crossed for you for a future bfpX

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it more than you can believe. Xx

Runner31 · 16/03/2019 08:26

Hi,
Can I join you on the tww. I had a 5dt on the 6th March and started testing last Monday which was negative. I got an incredibly faint squinter line on Tuesday which has slowly got darker but is still pretty light and i'm now 10dp5dt. My official test date isn't until the 21st.
This is our second fresh cycle of ivf, the first ended in a missed miscarriage at 6weeks so I'm absolutely terrified. It's horrible how the thought of pregnancy is almost as terrifying as not being pregnant.
I'm on extra oestrogen and progesterone so I'm really tired all the time and have massive sore boobs. I've been feeling a little queasy the last couple of days and have lost my appetite a bit but nothing major.
Hope you're all doing good. You're stories and positivity have been keeping me sane over the last few days.

sarahthewiganer · 17/03/2019 20:18

@Runner31 I had a really faint line on 4dp and 5dp5dt. I'm now on 8dp5dt and it's definitely a positive!. When will you test again?

In the past I've always had frozen transfers and this was my first fresh. I'm over the moon but my last positive in June 2018 ended in ectopic so I'm remaining cautious

Runner31 · 17/03/2019 20:35

Congratulations @sarahthewiganer. I tested again today and the line has definitely got darker. I feel a little less apprehensive about doing a less sensitive test now but still really nervous.

sarahthewiganer · 17/03/2019 20:55

Aw that's brilliant @Runner31 ! Congrats. Let's pray for sticky babies!
I'm so uncomfortable already. I feel like I have trapped wind in my chest and back. Hoping it's just because I've had fizzy pop. Back onto water tomorrow. I'm ringing my clinic tomorrow to let them know, because they didn't give me an actual test date

longrd · 17/03/2019 21:20

Congratulations ladies what fab news!
I've been ok with not thinking too much about testing this week but today I can't get It out of my head. Though I've promised my other half I wont test until the weekend but that seems ages away.

OP posts:
sarahthewiganer · 17/03/2019 21:23

@longrd how many days past transfer are you?

I tested in secret from 4dp5dtBlush
But tested with my fella on 7dp. I'm such a poas addict, I love it! I love analysing it for a line. Sad I know. But then again whenever it's bfn I spend my day googling everything.

longrd · 17/03/2019 22:22

So I had a 2 day transfer last Sunday (egg collection was on the Friday so would that be 7dp

OP posts:
Runner31 · 21/03/2019 03:47

Well OTD is here and i have a negative 😔. I'm absolutely gutted but my early testing has really helped me deal with it (so far). The worry of faint lines and seeing lines and them not get darker seems to have prepared me and I feel so ill from the oestrogen and progesterone I'm taking that I really want to get off them as soon as possible. We've two in the freezer but now we really have to think about if we want to put ourselves through this again or if we begin our journey down the adoption route. Good luck everyone and thanks for your advice and help. X

longrd · 21/03/2019 08:49

Runner31 I'm so sorry to hear that. I tested early and got bfn too and now I've started to period spot. I stopped the progesterone last night as it's made me feel so rubbish these past few weeks and I'm sitting having my first coffee in weeks.
I feel really fed up! The next time we can try again will be mid may due to us being away during my next cycle. Though I think we can both use a little break now.
I just feel mentally and physically exhausted by it all now.
