Hi everyone I'm new to this I have never spoke in a group before about my infertility, 5 years ago I had ectopic pregnancy and it resulted in my tube being removed they also found that my other tube was blocked since then iv had that tube tied up to improve my chances of IVF. Myself and my husband have had our blood tests to start the IVF and we have just had a appointment date for our IVF consultation. We have 1 Free chance on the NHS but we intend to try it 3 times before considering adoption. I have been going acupuncture once a week as iv read somewhere that it can help.? Does any one know how long after the consultation we will be starting the treatment and does anyone have any advice for us?

Hi @Hzff I'm starting my first round of ICSI next month, I was referred to the clinic in September, told we needed IVF in November, agreed to go forward with it in January and signed all the paperwork last month so for me it's been super fast!

I also get one round free but here's something I didn't know that made me feel better, and I hope it does you too, whilst I only get one free cycle it actually works out that any embryos left over get frozen for up to three years for free on the nhs and I get four FET on the nhs (unless successful before)
