Baseline Scan and Simple Cyst

Hi, I've just started my second round of IVF and at my baseline scan on Saturday the nurse found a simple cyst. It seemed quite large on the screen but she wasn't concerned at all and gave me my injections which I started yesterday. Although she told me not to worry it's playing on my mind. They counted double the number of follicles this time than last time so I really want to think positively but the cyst is playing on my mind.

Has anyone else had this?

Hi I've got a cyst on my left ovary - it's been there several months and everyone who has seen it on scans has said that it's nothing to worry about and won't affect anything. In fact on my recent ivf cycle which ended up being a freeze all my left ovary performed better than my right!

Thanks, I had my 2nd scan yesterday and it looks like it's gone. Phew! This second cycle is turning out to be so different from my first and I've no idea if it's a good or a bad thing. Hope everything goes well with your cycle.
