2WW following 5DT

Anyone else on their 2WW following 5DT? I had my transfer done yesterday and am now in the dreaded 2WW although am glad to be PUPO too.

Thought I'd start this chat so we can support each other through possibly one of the most difficult times of trying to not test too early.

Just getting to the end of my TWW for a 5day FET brighteye. Test day is Tuesday and I’ve managed to keep sane up until today. Feeling slightly deflated as we had the announcement that one of our best friends are expecting their second baby in August. So happy for them, but just a little deflated after hearing the news at a sensitive time I suppose.

How are you feeling Brighteye? Hope positive.

brighteye3986 · 18/02/2019 06:02

@iwillbemummy I know it's hard but stay positive. You've done the hard bit and only a day or so to go! I have my fingers crossed for you.

I'm feeling fine. Very positive about the whole thing really. Only thing annoying me at the moment is how much I need to go to the toilet but I'm thinking this may be linked to the cyclogest pessaries.... I'm up every day around 2am and then 6am..... but oh well. When I'm pregnant I'm sure it will be more!

Hi, I'm at 8dp5dt and the wait is driving me mad but I'm determined not to test until Sunday

whatdoyouwantfromme · 18/02/2019 07:44

Hi @brighteye3986, @iwillbemummy and @katherine1987. I'm day 7 post FET, test is Friday. I hope your all holding up. I was a mess yesterday, but think I'm holding it together today - just.
Little bit about me ?
TTC - 4+
38/45
No known issues
1st cycle, only one viable so if this fails back to stims.
I'm addicted to exercise, so light duties have been challenging for me. But have been advised to continue to train by my team due to my normal routine being so high.
Ran a hilly 8km yesterday and it was the calmest I've felt in weeks.
Hating the hormones, I'm all over the place.
How is everyone planning to tackle test day?
Tell me a little about you, not just the IVF stuff !!

brighteye3986 · 18/02/2019 08:06

Hi @whatdoyouwantfromme a little about me

I'm 32, DH is 36
TTC for 3.5years
First IVF cycle
Transfer was a 5day BA hatching
I have 3 Frosties- graded AA, AB and BA
We have low motility and an-ovulation but have responded well so far with out fresh IVF cycle.
I am 2DP5DT so still have a long way to go as my test day isn't until 27th.... seems like so far away. We have our wedding anniversary this week though so something to keep us occupied for a little while. I took a week off for EC and ET to happen and today is my first day back at work.
My main struggle will be to keep my stress levels down!

Hi,
I'm 8dp5dt, no known fertility issues other than 2 pervious ectopic pregnancies which has resulted in 1 tube been removed.

I'm 31 and partner is 35 we have been trying for 3 1/2 years.
We had 16 eggs with 1 hatching top quality blastocyst and 3 Frosties saved for later.

Hi Ladies, really hope we all get some good news in the days to come.

This is my first FET with one of our 8 enbryos we were able to freeze from our first fresh cycle. That fresh cycle resulted in my amazing DS who is now 16 months.

We have no known fertility issues and I responded really well to the treatment first time hence all the Frosties. We lost one to the thaw process and I have one in now, so 6 left which I hope we don’t need to use if this one sticks.

Only one more sleep and I find out. The time has flown by but guess that because of having a very active toddler to look after lol.

Really hope we all get some great news.

When does the symptom spotting start??? Ha ha. My back aches- I'm pretty sure is from my chair at work and being away from it for a week.... I had some cramping pains on my left hand side today. Really trying to not symptom spot but it's so difficult.... only another 9 days to go...... 😩

OP posts:
whatdoyouwantfromme · 18/02/2019 20:37

I'm stressed. I have the in mistakable dull ache of my period starting. (It's due tomorrow) I could cry.......

brighteye3986 · 18/02/2019 20:54

@whatdoyouwantfromme try not to worry. It may not be your period coming and it may just be your mind tricking you. Try to relax and desires as it won't be doing you any good. I know it's easier said than done

So yesterday had the day from hell!! Felt so sick all day and really tired and must have gone to the loo like 20 times! So woke up this morning and caved in and got a BFP but now I'm stressing it's a false positive because I shouldn't have tested until Sunday Confused

whatdoyouwantfromme · 19/02/2019 20:35

@katherine1987 I would take that BFP with a pinch of salt, be hopeful that it's right but you'll need to wait til Sunday until you know for sure. There is a reason why the clinics say don't test. Only 5 days to go, it's complete torture but you'll get through it! Good luck !!!

whatdoyouwantfromme · 19/02/2019 20:36

@brighteye3986 completely miserable with cramp. But still no AF, I have everything crossed - literally !!!

brighteye3986 · 19/02/2019 20:53

@katherine1987 definitely test again on Sunday just to be sure.

@whatdoyouwantfromme I have my fingers crossed for you.

Today I've been feeling really nauseous and have a really heightened sense of smell. Tonight I had some major cramping as if AF was about to arrive. I'm really hoping it's implantation or something being that I'm 3dp5dt.

Just threw out my last pregnancy test, I had been 'saving it' but thought I'd remove temptation. It expired in 2017..... just goes to show how long we've been at this lark. Depressing, on the plus DH and I have had some brilliant sex!

brighteye3986 · 19/02/2019 21:32

I don't even have any in the house. Less chance of temptation to test early that way!

OP posts:
iwillbemummy · 20/02/2019 10:23

Aw ladies, the symptom spotting is relentless. Hope you’re all taking it as easy as possible and this time goes quickly until you find out.

To update - went to the fertility clinic yday for test day....BFP. Bloods came back as 693 hcg, so they’re pleased with that too. Got another blood test next week to make sure it’s going in to right direction.

I couldn’t believe it when they showed us the test, so many tears lol. I would say don’t test before official test day as either way you’re just tormenting and second guessing the result.

Really hope you all get some good news. Keeping fingers crossed.

whatdoyouwantfromme · 20/02/2019 11:02

@iwillbemummy delighted for you love. That's just wonderful x x how special x x

iwillbemummy · 20/02/2019 22:29

Thanks whatdoyou. Hoping the good news continues on this thread. X

brighteye3986 · 21/02/2019 05:48

@whatdoyouwantfromme congratulations!

I have decided to just let my body do what it wants and not read too much into it.

whatdoyouwantfromme · 21/02/2019 05:59

@brighteye3986 I'd love to being congratulated - but I think that's for @iwillbemummy ...... you never know tho, come Friday maybe!

brighteye3986 · 21/02/2019 06:00

Sorry @whatdoyouwantfromme serves me right for being on here so early in the morning and still being half asleep!

Fingers crossed for you!
