Hi guys,

Long story short I have secondary infertility issues. I had a cyst removed from my brain 2 years ago and I think this is where all my problems started. I think maybe when they got the cyst out that they may have touched my putuitry gland and it's thrown everything off balance. I recently read up that accupunture can help with fertility issues and I just wondered if anybody had any knowledge on accupunture helping to cure fertility problems or anything? I had my first session yesterday. I must add I am also under clomid which has just been up'd to 100mg. We have been trying for 2 years with no sucess. My cycles are all over the place and I have annovotary cycles hense why I'm on clomid now.

Any help would be greatly recieved.

Thanks in advanced x

I’ve just booked in for my first acupuncture next week due to secondary infertility recurrent miscarriage and ruptured ectopic- I’m going to a place in solihull which specialises in infertility acupuncture and have heard good reviews from previous patients

Also try reading “it starts with an egg” - there is some useful advice on what supplements/vitamins to take - I’m going to up my dose of C0q10 - it advises to take DHEA too but that’s not readily available in the UK x

Thankyou for your reply CCS83.

Fingers crossed that accupunture helps you. I have my second session of accupunture on Tuesday and then a follicle tracking scan on Wednesday so I'm hoping that a mixture of clomid 100mg and the accupunture is doing some good for me.

Keep me updated on how you get on with accupunture if you don't mind? Secondary infertility is such a mindfield. I had my daughter nearly 7 years ago now and she was a beautiful accident but now we are trying for a baby it doesn't appear to want to work. It's so hard to digest esp when your both so desperate for another baby. X
