IVF in April - how to prepare

Hoping someone can help- I’m due for ivf egg transfer in April, I’ve been told nothing needs to be done but then read different things online such as people taking so many different vitamins. I was wondering what others did to prepare which worked.
I also ready I need to not run/strength train during the start of the process.

Thanks

Miamommy you will get all sorts of advice to not do this and dont do that and make sure you take this and that. First point of call will always be your consultant over anything a forum or book advises. Do read up and understand the journey egg and sperm go before they even meet each other.
Its a good idea to start getting healthy so keep running and exercising, when you are going through stimulation you will need to tone it down as your ovaries could easily get damaged.
Get all your bloods done to see if you have any deficiencies. For me I stuck to Ubiquinol and Glutathione after speaking to my consultant. Some people swear by acupuncture some don't. We are all different and what works for one may not work for you.

Dont get sucked into the do's and and donts of what you should or shouldn't do..
Ive plenty of cycles to learn that what may work for others, may not work for you.
I think the main thing you can do is eat healthy, drink lots of water and most importantly, keep as relaxed as you can.

Good luck x

@AniSL what did clinic say about ubiqinol? I’m taking it and have been since September. Got my first consultation this month. What dosage did you take? How far along the process are you? Thanks

WhatelsecouldIbecalled my clinic said that ubiquinol doesn't disrupt hormones as its only a coenzyme and is found naturally in the body and helps to build healthy cells, they were ok with this and Glutathione, they said no to all others. I am currently 5 weeks pregnant after a FET in Jan, our cycle for egg retrieval was last year. I took 400mg daily and they managed 19 eggs all of which were mature and all excellent quality but chose a freeze all. We got 4 grade 4AA blasts put on ice which led us to BFP.
