DOR - impossible to conceive via ivf more than once?

Just wanted to see if there are any people out there who managed to have more than one child via IVF after being diagnosed with a diminished ovarian reserve? I know I’m being greedy wanting more than one child and incredibly lucky a cycle of IVF worked, but ideally I’d love my child to have a sibling. I was 37 when my amh was measured at less than 2 and really high FSH. I’m now 38 and so I dread to think of what the numbers are now.

No experience of this but just wanted to say you’re not geeedy at all. It’s perfectly natural to want to give your child a sibling. I find women always carry a lot of guilt or are made to feel like we should be grateful with our lot. You shouldn’t feel awkward about wanting another child via ivf just because it’s already worked for you. Good luck!!

Do you definitely need ivf?

I had low amh and managed to have ds1 via Ivf. I had also been pregnant naturally prior to this but sadly it didnt Work out.
I also conceived naturally straight away after stopping breastfeeding the ivf baby.

So Ivf isn’t the only option if there are no other fertility issues.

Thank u for replying. It’s true about the guilt which does seem a bit ridiculous when you think about it.
I only have one tube left after an ectopic and what with my age and hormone tests was advised to have ivf (time running out I guess). I had had a previous spontaneous miscarriage too.
It’s a good point about needing ivf. I was just wondering if anyone had had such crap results and managed to have more than one baby. My fsh 18 months ago was shockingly bad.

Similar happened to me as PP, I had DS from donor egg IVF (2 own egg/3 donor egg) AMH 2, FSH 23, one tube, caught naturally when he was 8 months, huge shock as you can imagine

That’s amazing and congratulations.
I think we are lead to believe our chances are dismal sometimes when there is still hope x
