Endometriosis and painful sex

Hi

Sorry if this is TMI but I've recently had a laproscopy that removed some endo and a cyst.

It's always been really quite painful to have sex but we've just dtd tonight for the first time since my op and it didn't hurt! I'm so surprised!

Anyone else experienced this?

Also I know this has been asked before but I wanted some more recent (hopefully) success stories about pregnancy after lap....

.... 😊

Yes and YES Grin

Though I will add, nearly two years post-lap, the painful arc is back with a vengeance.

I conceived DS a few months after my lap. He's 13 months old now.

@Otterses

Ah that's fab! How long had you been ttc? I'm obsessed with finding success stories!! Congrats to you!
Yeah, I'm expecting it to come back at some point... trying not to waste any time now everything is 'tidied' up in there!!! 🙈😂

We'd been trying for about four years, had a few unexplained loses on the way between 8-20 weeks.

Enjoy the pain free sex while it lasts Grin

I got pregnant 3 months after having a lap for endo! I dunno if it helped my fertility when they removed what was there. Good luck xx
