Hi @Laurapb88 I think you'll be with Yorkshire fertility clinic? (I could be wrong though obviously)

I'm currently with them and they've told me there's currently no waiting list so as soon as you've had a paper work appointment you can start the next cycle. We agreed to the go ahead for ivf on January 8th and have our paperwork appointment on February 14th and due to start treatment on day 21 of my next cycle (roughly 16th March)

I hope this helps to answer some questions for you

I had treatment through them too. We said we were doing ivf in March, had our paperwork appointment in April and could have started in May, but I postponed a cycle as my thyroid results weren't optimal. So we started stims June 2, had egg collection june 14 at sea Croft (short protocol) and found out I was pregnant june 29! Currently 33 weeks.

The nurses are so lovely!! It made the hour each way travel in each day just a bit better...

@Laurapb88 it's just consenting to everything really, they say it takes around 2 hours because they go through a lot of information, they also send you both for tests (to check for HIV and stuff like that so there's no cross contamination at the Clinic dealing with the sperm and eggs) they tell you beforehand everything that is suggested to be done before this to speed things up such as your smear being up to date and checked that you're vaccinated against rubella.
I've got some paperwork before my paperwork appointment to tell me more information so they keep you in the know every step of the way.

Ah right thank you I think we're both up to date on every thing thank you so much for your help xx
