Hi, after a very long wait (about 2.5 years!) I'm starting my first cycle of IVF with PGD this weekend. So if anyone has any tips on injections or any other part of the process that would be really helpful Smile

I'm on short protocol, so up until egg collection only 10-12 days of injections. I don't mind needles, but am not looking forward to the logistics of it! Anyone who has done them, does the needle just go straight in really easily as if it's going through butter, or do you have to push quite hard to make it go in?

The only things I have done to prepare are trying to eat a healthy diet, and having no alcohol and no caffeine. Does that sound like enough?

I have been taking folic acid for the last month, but was wondering whether to add Vitamin D as well? The problem with having access to Google is that there are so many sites telling you how to increase the likelihood of IVF working that it's difficult to know what's actually effective!
