Bognor Fertility Referal

Hello everyone, new here, nice to meet you all!

We have been TTC for 3 years now and after months and months of tests, paperwork, waiting, re-tests, more paperwork etc. our doctor finally referred us for Fertility treatment.

We were expecting a letter from a local IVF clinic but instead we have been asked to make an appointment with a fertility GP at the Maywood medical centre in Bognor. The receptionist couldn’t tell us much on the phone.

Has anyone else been to Maywood at the start of their fertility treatment journey? If so it would be great to hear what is involved and whether this is yet another step in the process or whether we might actually be getting a bit closer to the help we need.

Hey! Sorry I know this is a really old thread but I’m in exactly the same situation - it looks like I could have written this myself! We too have been referred to the fertility GP at Maywood - if you don’t mind me asking, what happened at that appointment and how long was it from there until you got funding approved etc? Did you then get referred on to another clinic? As with you it’s been years of tests and re-tests etc so I’m really hoping it’s quite quick from here, but you’re the first person I’ve seen who was referred to the same GP surgery and situation seems the same! What treatment did you get referred for in the end? Really hope you have had some luck and success!! 😊
