Hello. New to all of this and very nervous. Needed a safe space to “talk”. I’m 32 hubby is 41 we been ttc for over 2 years unable to have nhs treatment as he has 2 children from previous relationship. We have issues with male infertility mobility and ideal forms. We had first appointment yesterday with recommendation of one round of mild ivf with icsi. Next appointment is next Thursday for treatment plan it’s allvery confusing and everything is explained so quickly my inner control freak is struggling,I’m not sure on all the jargon and hoping for any help and support xx tia

Ok so I had my egg collection and they collected six and didn't feel a thing when I was sedated! Find out tomorrow how many were fertilised. How is everyone getting on?

Ok so update from me! I had my EC and had 6 fertilised which I was over the moon with, then turns out we had three strong embryos and the other three stopped growing. I was really upset because it's only three months worth however they all progressed to blastocysts which they were really happy with. The one they inserted in me Monday was hatching! The nurses were very emotional and really happy for me so confuses me to think the fact that it's hatching means it's a very strong sign? I'm in the TWW and trying not to get overly excited because you never know do you. I have my test on the 25th Feb!

@Kw1311 Having 4 fertilised is still really good! I over heard some people in the room that didn't get any so I count myself lucky.

I am still bloated from EC and getting cramps and maybe tender breasts......I'm like squeezing my boobs to figure that part out lol
