TTC 2 years Laparoscopy possible Endometriosis

Hi,
Both my partner and I are 32 and been TTC for 2 years now. We've not fallen pregnant during this time. Cycle is 28 days, period always on time and fairly light to medium over 3-4 days. Very little period pain either.
Partner been tested and no problems with him. I'm now due to have a laparoscopy as Dr thinks I may have endometriosis. As I said I've had not issues with my cycle so not sure, but Dr said she thinks she could see it in my last test. Just after advice really. Nervous about the laparoscopy, never had it before. Unsure what happens now. Scared we'll need IVF.
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this and/or advice.
It's so hard to talk about honestly with friends and family.

Hiya, don’t worry, most of us have been there. I had a laparoscopy in October to investigate my tubes but they also found mild endometriosis. The good news is that they can treat it - they burnt away a few patches there and then. Like you I have regular periods and no obvious pain - just period pain and what I presume is ovulation pain. I’d never had anaesthetic before but the whole thing was fine really x

Lap and dye test often results in clearing the fallopian tubes. I got pregnant very quickly after this despite severe endo.
You'll be up on your feet within a week after the op.
