I’m 43 and am after any advice on what do to next.
Just had 3rd cycle of ICSI. My AMH is 9 and so is FSH I think. First cycle went fine, got 4 eggs and 2 embryos implanted but didn’t take.
2nd cycle I wasn’t very well and follicles were smaller ans grew slower and they got 7 eggs but all immature and none fertilised. Assumed one off as had been poorly.
However 3rd cycle, was not unwell and follicles larger and grew faster like cycle 1. However after collection all 6 eggs immature again.
I’m at a small NHS clinic (self funding) as live rurally although it has national average scores.
Do I give up given my age and the odds?
Do I move to a more sophisticated clinic that could tailor the protocol? (Saw something online about women of advanced age needing a bigger trigger shot to help maturation).
Do I move to donor egg?
Feeling very low today. Conceived 1st DD on first try naturalky age 36.
